This lodge boasts an exquisite 37 acres of property in a remote setting surrounded by crown land. In the late 1800s, but have since gone back to nature.Across the Liard River is the Muskwa Kechika Management Area, there were two cabins located beside the hot springs, a totally unspoiled wilderness. The property is bordered by the Liard River flowing along the south end, The Coal River flowing into the Liard River from the north end under the bridge, The Alaska Highway facing the north end of the property, and a designated park with undeveloped hotsprings located at Brule rapids along the side. A landing strip for planes measuring over 1200 feet long with room for addition makes for accessible travel along with the newly built road that travels the length of the property to the south end by the river. It is the largest piece of privately owned land along the Alaska Highway.The property itself is mostly cleared with level ground. This park is where one can tap into their love of the wilderness with common sightings of mountain sheep, grizzly bears, moose, elk, mountain goats, and black bears.
